The CONNECTION is the new community activity center of Morning Star Church. In 1999, church leadership began to brainstorm about what could be done to serve Kokomo. The idea of an activity center with youth space, game room, internet cafe, banquet space, meeting space, commercial kitchen, outdoor amphitheater and a top-notch gym took shape. The CONNECTION proudly offers a high school size gymnasium with premium hardwood floor, basketball, volleyball, bleachers, and walking track. It is our hope that The CONNECTION will be busy with community events continuously. It is available for wedding receptions, parties, and gatherings of all kinds.

Our Beliefs:

In 1815, the early United Brethren leaders adopted a Confession of Faith which briefly spells out the foundational beliefs which we teach and live out.  These doctrines have not changed.

God:  We believe there is only one God.  At the same time, He is a three-in-one, or triune God—Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. 

Jesus Christ:  Though Jesus was a man, He was also fully God.  He was born of a virgin, died on the cross, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven.  He will return at the Father’s appointed time.

The Bible:  The Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It alone reveals the truth of salvation through Christ and provides a blueprint for living.

Salvation:  A blood sacrifice is required to remove sin.  Christ’s death accomplished that for all who are willing to believe and follow Him.  Through Him, we can have eternal life.  A true Christian believes in Christ, His atonement for sin, accepts His forgiveness and follows Christ’s teachings in all areas of life.
